amd sempron 2800+ 1,9Ghz ?

I have one amd processor and just only can run at 1,9 Ghz, this is normal? i want to overclock my sempron to run more than 2 Ghz, and i don't know how to do this, any one can help?. After used this amd processor, i thing sempron can't run more than 1,6Ghz, yeah as you know that default for amd sempron 2800+ socket 754 just only run at 1,6Ghz, but i can change my FSB on motherboard and my amd sempron can run more than 1,9 Ghz but can't run at 2 Ghz.

If you have more experience to overclock amd sempron 2800+, you can tell us about it. It's more interesting than to overclock intel processor ^_^, because i am amd lover, so i want to change my default speed at sempron 2800+ to more than 2 Ghz.. help me !! any way to do this ?^_^ [Readmore..]

this is the story from l130 owner, he managed to overclock Acer Ferrari One CPU (AMD Athlon X2 L310) to 1380Mhz! this is great yeah dude !! then, The SuperPi 1M runs 10s faster (changed from 1:12 to 1:02), the Windows 7 performance index increased from 3.6 to 3.9 in CPU performance and also from 3.3 to 3.5 in graphics performance. Guys, before you finished your CPU overclocked, you must tes it for a little time, if your athlon l130 can standby and life long, you can used your OC configuration but if HANG you need to change it again and decrease your FSB setting.

Cpu Overclock Phenom II to 4.9GHz, yes phenom can overclocked, same with old amd processor variant like barton, athlon xp 2200, it easy to overclock, i don't know why amd user friendly for overclocker, with only change fsb on Bios menu, you can increase your cpu speed, i have sempron 2800, and i have overclock my sempron at 1,9 Ghz with default sempron 1,6.. and yes.. it easy to overclock like other amd processor variant, and how to overclock phenom? . "As you know, Tom's Hardware organized it's Overdrive overclocking finals in Paris over the weekend, bringing in teams from all over the world. The competitors benched and tweaked Intel's new Core i7 platform and achieved some significant scores and frequencies. But along side Core i7, wealso had the opportunity to overclock AMD"s new Phenom II. You read that right--the next AMD processor that's expected to launch in January '09.

4,957 MHz

Although AMD says nearly 6 GHz is achievable on the new Phenom II, we were not able to attain that frequency. However, with the helpof Jmax, we managed to reach 4,957 MHz. Remember however, that the 940 Phenom X4 BE II, is running at 3 GHz natively. We ran the processor on a Gigabyte motherboard based on AMD 790GX with DDR2 utilizing a cooling system with liquid nitrogen. At this point, based on what AMD tells us, the processor may have a higher potential, but it has an issue of locking at temperatures below -70 °C. To verify that the processor was stable at 4.9 GHz, we conducted some tests and it completed a SuperPi 1M run in 17,769 sec.

In practice, this new Phenom II in 45 nm seems very capable in terms of overclocking. Judging on what AMD says and how far we were able to push the processor, we're feeling fairly positive about its potential as a mainstream overclocking CPU.
